It all started back in 1950 when Art and Ruth Kramer sold their service station in Flint, Michigan and moved back to Traverse City to purchase what is now Stoney Beach Farm.   if  you've ever heard of "Cherry Chick Farm", "The Cherry House", "Kramer's", "Lug 'n Pallet", or "Goodman Farms"; you've heard of us.  The more we thought about it, the more we liked the sound of "Stoney Beach Farm" so that's what we are "again".

The farm is currently owned and managed by the second and third generations, now Goodman's.  While we sell directly from the farm and offer a unique, hard to find, u-pick experience, we have also made our way into other area food markets, farmers markets, and restaurants.  Our customers - and our customers' customers - have been thrilled to have fresh, local strawberries available out of the typical season.
